London / notes from Shoreditch
If Paris were a screaming child covered in glitter, London might just be – a screaming child? The vote is still out for me, and though I am starting up on these posts after a month or so in the city, I can say that London and I are still trying to find our rhythm and our groove. We didn’t seem to have the best introduction, admittedly – when I arrived at my AirBNB had six cats inside, the hosts were in Thailand, and there were three people living in the house that I didn’t expect to be there. Drama! So, after a few weeks of “sorting” a new housing setup (at least something to get me until the end of the year) and getting comfortable with my new commute to work, I finally feel ready to catch y’all up on some of the shops and stops in Shoreditch that caught me eye during the first couple of visits. I will continue adding to this as I continue to explore the area!
