My background – and how it shapes an architecturally-informed approach to real estate.
A few threads define the business I now get to steward, as an agent with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty:
First, I studied architecture at Tulane University in New Orleans, earning a Bachelors and Masters in a colorful, charismatic city filled with whimsy and hospitality. After school, I spent about 7 years working in real estate strategy, at Gensler and Streetsense.
Second, while working in commercial real estate, I started a photography business – initially focused on portraiture and weddings, but always with a pull towards interiors and architecture. That compositional eye, and the attention to detail it demands, is the thing clients notice most once we start working together.
Third, I spent a year working remotely in Europe, studying the world each morning through my camera before calling in for the afternoon. My current chapter in DC was, in many ways, laid in tandem with that year abroad.
If you are a buyer or a seller and think we make a good match, or if you have a particular project in mind, send me an email – I love an inbox letter.
