London / notes from Notting Hill
My initial housing plan for London did not include Notting Hill (for reasons unbeknownst to me to this day, honestly), but through a whirlwind of housing obstacles and last minute changes, I ended up with a sweet little spot to call home in this charming area for a couple of months! This has been a lovely launchpad for my time in West London, and I can definitely see myself living in this area in the future. Notting Hill does feel a bit quiet in the evenings, but that’s just my opinion – and something I quite prefer, actually. There are plenty of cute cafes and shops to pop into during the day, but your options can feel a bit more limited for dinners and drinks out on the weekend. That being said, I haven’t been here for too long so could be totally, totally misguided in my judgement! Here’s a recap of what I’ve explored to date, and will continue to add to this as I explore!
