Brief
Of all of the places I was most excited to visit during my trip to LA, Brentwood Country Mart was within the top 3 of that list – Lido Marina Village and Platform LA were the other 2!

Originally built in 1948, this collection of shops centers around a central courtyard (or in this case, two courtyards), where the history and spirit of the original place still feel palpable. The Mart is intimate, cozy, and a little meandering - it's small, but full of surprises, much like an Advent Calendar where there are only 25 days until Christmas, but each one is a treat!

During my visit I played dress-up at Doen, experienced Goop in real life, shopped for groceries like a local at Farmshop, and eyed beautiful bouquets at Hudson Grace. Whereas at so many of the other places in LA I felt far from cool, Brentwood Country Mart left me feeling right at home. Truly a treat to experience in person, and totally worth the wait!
