This shoot started from simply spotting a micro-field of orange wildflowers during a walk through Capitol Hill. Their color was so striking and vibrant, and honestly out of character considering the season.

Supreme Court Portraits
Sophia wanted to capture some memories with her roommates, one of whom was moving at the end of the month. We stopped at a few of their favorite destinations in Capitol Hill and played in the beautiful evening light. The colors they selected for their outfits beautifully contrasted against the marble of the monuments.
Architectural Alley Tour
I worked with Ditto Residential to develop unique content that appealed to their target audience: a walking guide + illustrated map capturing my favorite routes in Capitol Hill, and photography capturing a tour of Naylor Court + Blagden alley with local historic buff, Dr. David Salter.
Upstate NY Microwedding | Melissa and Kevin
For Melissa and Kevin’s wedding in Upstate NYC, I worked with the bride to iron out design details leading up to the big day; on the day of, I managed florals, the tablescape, in addition to photographing the event. I wore many hats that day, and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

For this surprise proposal, I worked with Will in advance to select the best locations around the Lincoln Memorial for the big question; on the day of, I captured the moments right before and after Andie said yes, as well as the memories shared after with her friends and family, who were hiding behind the corner!
