Notes from Copenhagen
The first time I visited Copenhagen was while studying abroad in architecture school, and I skipped it during my grand European tour, so a return visit was high on the wishlist. I went during a September – the weather was just warm enough during the day to be delightfully ambient, while cool enough in the evenings to warrant a sweater. The ambiance everywhere – both inside and out – was always 10/10, with everyone blissfully biking about. If I could do it again, I’d go more during the proper summertime so that a dip into the water would feel a bit more comfortable, and I’d bring a bigger suitcase for all of the stylish finds spotted around town.
My favorite memories
The Louisiana Museum; it’s a day trip from downtown, but just spectacular and I am glad I went during my visit.
The FRAMA Studio Store & a neighboring bakery called Apotek 57; my airbnb during my visit just so happened to be with the bakery owner!
Mussels and wine enjoyed in the sunshine at Kødbyens Fiskebar
Everything in the Ferm Living Store
If I had been there with someone, I would have rented one of the “Go Boats” – you can drive them yourself on the water and bring a picnic, it’s very cute!
I have loved wandering around the neighborhood called Kartoffelrækkerne - very small streets and charming proportions
Shopping at Skall Studio, one of my favorite brands!!
A cafe moment Studio x Kitchen
Grundtvig’s Church – yes a church, but visually haven’t experienced anything like it
New Mags – a cool magazine bookstore
