Design
photography
This service is for the designer who just wrapped an amazing one-off project, & quickly needs some high quality content for sharing on social.
As a full-time realtor with a background in architecture & photography, as well a content creator who has organically grown my page through design-focused content, I am not the person to call for big, multi-day shoots. I’m the person you call at the last minute when you need a space quickly captured before the client settles back in – these projects might not warrant the investment of a full day shoot, but still deserve some real estate in your portfolio. I can also be tasked with capturing behind the scenes moments, while you focus on the design details.
My goal is to quickly get you meaningful content for projects that aren’t being held in the wings for publication, while spending more time in DC homes that sparkle alongside designers I admire. Think of it as a way for us to have some quality time together, while also getting you some content you can put to use right away.
Pricing
Smaller spaces (like bathrooms & small bedrooms): $500 per space
Includes 5 high res images, in addition to a handful of video clips shot on my iPhone to repurpose as you’d like. I photograph the space for 30-45 minutes after you’ve styled it.
Larger spaces (like kitchens, large bedrooms, and living areas): $1,000 per space
Includes 10 high res images, in addition to a handful of video clips shot on my iPhone to repurpose as you’d like. I photograph the space for 1-1.5 hours after you’ve styled it.
This offering is designed for one-off projects, and I am available to work with your team for up to 4 hours. Your investment includes one license that allows you to use the content across your website, social media, and in any digital and print advertising. I will airdrop the videos to you at the end of our session, and the high res photos will be available in one week.
Please note, additional images and licenses are priced separately, and I do have a $1,000 minimum for each booking. I maintain the rights to share the images on my page. Projects outside of the District incur a travel fee.
Worth noting
prep work
I’ll ask you to send me a couple of photos of the space, so that I can get a sense for how much time we will need. I budget for up to 1 hour to work in each space, and am available for up to 4 hours.
We will confirm the time on our calendars, as well as a backup day that week in case we need to adjust for weather. I book projects up to 1 month in advance; checking in on my availability at the last minute is both welcomed and encouraged.
shoot day
On shoot day, I will arrive after you and your team have had some time to style the space, and am happy to help provide a perspective on any additional finessing to perfect the composition.
Please note, I photograph with a very low profile set up, and will likely not tether my camera to a computer. I rely solely on natural light, and will not bring any artificial lighting with me.
editing & delivery
Afterwards, I will share a collection of images with you within the week, and you’ll have the option to select the images from each space that you’d like to call your own.
Because this service is intended to provide high quality content quickly for social media, my process does not include any retouching or photoshopping beyond what I am able to remove and adjust in Adobe Lightroom (power outlets, recessed lights, etc).
